Dr. Clement Hammah is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Human Resources Management and Management Studies Department of Methodist University College. He has over 40 years of teaching, research and consulting experiences in academia and industry in Ghana and Canada. He has taught at several universities in Canada and Ghana, and worked in the public service of these countries for many years. His areas of specialization include Human Resources Management, Organizational Behaviour, Industrial Relations, Gender and Employment Relations, and Organizational Development. In the public sector of Canada, he worked as training coordinator and pay equity consultant for the Ontario Government for six years. In Ghana, he served as social development consultant for the U.K. Department for International Development on the National Institutional Renewal Program (a World Bank Public Sector Reform project from January 2003 – September 2004). As Director of Training and consultant with SEM International from 2000–2007, his consulting clients included the Government of Ghana, Ford Foundation, Bank of Ghana and Tema Oil Refinery. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board of Ghana Railway Company, Chairman of the Entity Tender Board for Ghana Railways Company, and a regular Panelist on National Accreditation Board assessment teams. Dr. Hammah has a PhD in Business Administration, M.A in Educational Administration, MBA, and Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from Canada.
